Students in our Senior School have the distinct advantage of individual attention with ready access to excellent equipment, resources and computing networks.

Early term 1, Senior students take part in a three-day study camp where they are presented with an opportunity to learn valuable study skills and techniques in order to achieve their best.

 

Curriculum

Taree Christian College offers an extensive range of HSC subjects and courses which comply with the Board of Studies requirements for the HSC. We endeavour to offer students opportunities to develop their talents and gifts, empowering them as individuals to make a difference in their world for Christ.

Subjects on offer to Senior students at Taree Christian College are:

English, as the only compulsory subject for the completion of the HSC, we provide our Senior Students with the options of studying English Studies, English Standard, English Advanced and English Extension 1 & English Extension 2.

Mathematics is offered with four study options, General Mathematics, 2 Unit Mathematics and Mathematics Extension 1 & Mathematics Extension 2.

Some students are offered the opportunity to study at an accelerated level.

All Senior students study Biblical Studies.

Distance education and TAFE are also available as study options to students in years 11 & 12. Additional fees may be required.
