Why I teach at Taree Christian College

I have taught in three Christian Schools over the years and have witnessed in each of them a real desire to teach the whole child. We do an excellent job teaching the NSW Curriculum set by the Board of Studies and are able to teach children about the WHY question: Why am I here and what does this mean to me? I have felt over my years of teaching at TCC that I have been able to make a real difference particularly for students who have struggled with some big life issues.

What I desire for students to take with them when they graduate from TCC

I want our students to leave TCC when they graduate with the ability and desire to seek wisdom in decisions they make throughout life. How will the decisions they make affect their relationship with God and others?

Why is Christian education important for children?

I believe Christian Education is important for children because all things were created by God and for Him. Without knowledge of God and His Son Jesus Christ we ignore the real purpose of life and can be burdened by guilt and dissatisfaction. A Christian education allows children to learn and understand why we have values and morals within the human race.

Tell us about your family

God has blessed me with a beautiful family. I have a beautiful wife who is my best friend and mother of our two girls, Kiara and Kaylee, and our son Harry. We enjoy anything farm and country related, get great rest and recreation from camping, water skiing and kayaking. Dad and Harry love dirt squirting on the motorbikes while the girls opt more for pedal power. We are members of the Taree Baptist Church. Our eldest daughter Kiara has enjoyed the transition from primary school to high school this year.
